About
Ms. Stephanie Allison is a Senior Software Development Analyst at CANA Advisors. She has over 16 years of experience as a government contractor for the United States Department of Defense, in which many of those years were focused in Marine Corp support. She has provided project management support with configuration management, identification and management of project risk and requirements, planning and procuring equipment and materials, inventory management, resource management, quality assurance, audit preparation, budget, contracts management, and completion of project documentation deliverables. Ms. Allison successfully managed organizational efforts in corporate branding, marketing and selling, and training development. She also has experience in software testing and user manual development.
Ms. Allison has completed several project management and leadership programs throughout her professional career through which she acquired a plethora of knowledge, enabling her to bring new ideas and skills to the programs she supports. Ms. Allison has also acquired a depth of entrepreneurial knowledge over the last seven years. She currently owns and operates several small businesses which has widened her experience beyond the government contracting realm. Managing the daily operations of a small business requires focus, attention to detail, personal communication, and organizational skills. Mr. Allison enjoys breaking down complex problems, digging in and figuring out how things work, and assembling multi-discipline technologies into broader product offerings. He has experience working with various defense and intelligence organizations as well as financial institutions. Some key projects include creating virtual 3D worlds with automated and interactive bots for the National Defense University (NDU), development of integrated data management portal systems, electronic intelligence analysis and threat library characterization for Navy reconnaissance air platforms, computer vision for target tracking through the use of drones with the National Reconnaissance Organization (NRO), building enterprise deployed geospatial data management systems for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as well as working with advanced guards, filters and data loss prevention (DLP) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for the National Security Agency (NSA). He went on to serve as the Vice President, and Director of IT at a community financial institution with $1.2B in assets managing the LAN, Telecommunications, and IT Support departments. He was responsible for the budget, e-mail, networking, WiFi, enterprise applications, telecommunications, VTC, disaster recovery, IT Audits, technology evolution, and reporting IT Strategy and progress to the Board of Directors within the bank and trust organizations. He was highly involved in day-to-day activities and strategies for Information Security and cybersecurity defenses as well as working directly with their party penetration testers, and state and federal regulators.
