About
Mr. Kurt Eades is the Integrated Management Systems Coordinator for CANA Advisors. As CANA’s Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Coordinator, Mr. Eades manages the implementation and coordination of CANA’s IMS capability, Facilities Security and Information Technologies programs, and contributes technically to client projects. Mr. Eades has a long history of providing leadership to military logistics problems and helping different types of organizations improve the quality of their decision support. Mr. Eades’ work experience has ranged from supporting executive sessions to training on multinational bases in Afghanistan. He is adept at supply chain optimization, supply chain management, business process reengineering, definition of client requirements, developing and delivering training, information technologies management and cyber security.
Mr. Eades has over 30 years of leadership and project experience in logistics management, Marine Corps Operations, and quality management. He has been responsible for the successful execution of many CANA projects. He is skilled at logistics management, quality management, team member development, and client interaction. Mr. Eades’ primary career focus has been on Quality Management, Information Technology Management, and Security. Early in his career, as a U.S. Marine Corps Explosive Ordnance Disposal Staff Non-Commissioned Officer, Mr. Eades focused on applying management and leadership principles to provide logistics support to a diverse set of missions ranging from organizational logistics problems (embarkation, maintenance management, hazardous material and explosives safety) to landing support and maritime prepositioning support (helicopter support teams, arrival and departure airfield control group, beach landings, port and terminal operations, engineering and construction).
Through his combined career in the U.S. Marine Corps and in Industry, Mr. Eades has supported a variety of clients with the most appropriate logistical methods including quality management for deployed NATO logistics support contracts in Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, for all branches of the U.S. Military, and including the Defense Logistics Agency and U.S. Transportation Command. In addition to providing quality management support to a range of logistics-based organizations at home and abroad, Mr. Eades has also worked with commercial partners to assist in advancing their technologies and methods to support better logistics and quality programs. Mr. Eades maintains awareness and practice of quality management and information management best practices through routine participation in webinars and conferences in his fields of expertise.
