Team CANA would like to welcome Ashley Castillo, Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellow, and Kevin Boyce, Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellow!


Ashley Castillo

Ashley Castillo will be participating in the Hiring our Heroes Fellowship program. During which, she will be working with CANA's Business Operations team. Ashley has six years of management and operational experience. During those six years, she completed her Bachelors in Science with a focus in accounting. For the last three years, Ashley has worked as a financial operations manager and completed her graduate certificate at UWF in Supply Chain and Logistics Management. I am always eager and determined to learn more, to be a part of a bigger picture. - Ashley

Kevin Boyce

"If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?"

Kevin has over 24 years of military experience in various roles as an aviation command and control officer in the US Marine Corps. As a current corporate fellow with Hiring Our Heroes, he comes to CANA from Camp Lejeune, NC where he served as an aviation command and control planner and training management officer-in-charge at the II Marine Expeditionary Force. While in NC, he led multiple projects and operational planning for large-scale exercises and deployments for a three-star Marine Corps command. Prior to his service at Camp Lejeune, Mr. Boyce received his master’s degree in history from California State University and subsequently taught history at the US Naval Academy for three years where he was selected for the Apgar Award for Teaching Excellence. His military operational experience includes deployments to Afghanistan with Regimental Combat Team 5 as a helicopter director in 2012 and with Marine Air Support Squadron 3 as a senior air director in 2014.


Kevin graduated from Old Dominion University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in History. Additionally, he recently completed a Scrum Master certification and is working on a Project Management Professional certification from Syracuse University.
