CANA Principal Data Engineer
We provide a diverse spectrum of commercial, federal, and non-profit clients with operations planning, analytics, logistics, and supply chain support, program management, and technical data development. Our Principal Data Engineer will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects and support CANA software developers, operations research analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives. They will have the ability to communicate effectively at all management and technical levels.
The CANA Principal Data Engineer can execute all activities within the life cycle of analysis and modeling and simulation development to include: problem definition, decision maker analysis, data analysis, model programming and development, verification and validation, graphical analysis, packaging results for decision-makers, and presenting results.
The CANA Principal Data Engineer will have a graduate-level degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or a related field. They will have experience with: big data tools, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipeline and workflow management tools, AWS cloud services, stream-processing systems, and object-oriented/object function scripting languages.
