Mr. Aaron Luprek is a Senior Software Developer for CANA Advisors. Mr. Luprek is responsible for developing technical solutions for clients, enhancing their productivity by automating processes that were previously done manually. 

Mr. Luprek has fifteen years of software development experience. He develops data visualizations to present complex information to the user in an easily understood, graphical way. Mr. Luprek supports other developers and analysts on the team by maintaining version control systems. 

Mr. Luprek is the lead developer on the Equipment Distribution and Sourcing Tool (EDST), which helps the Marine Corps in planning for various deployment scenarios. EDST is developed in the R programming language and related frameworks. By using EDST, reports that the client previously took weeks or months to produce can now be calculated in a day. Mr. Luprek also helps develop the Force Closure Model, working closely with data analysts and subject-matter experts to develop data visualizations. 

Another USMC project that Mr. Luprek supported was the Prepositioning Budget Forecast Tool, an application supporting budget planning and cost estimation. Mr. Luprek implemented new features to the Node.js-based Electron application using TypeScript and the Angular framework and worked closely with the requirements and testing team to deliver a quality product to the client. 

Previously in his career as a software developer, Mr. Luprek supported many different Web applications. He was the lead developer for a .NET Web application supporting the Defense Language and National Security Education Office. His responsibilities included requirements analysis and tracking and allocation of tasking among other developers, as well as SQL Server database design, maintenance, and development. 

Using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Mr. Luprek developed packages for a data warehouse tracking safety incidents for the Department of Defense. He also developed ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for multiple data sources feeding a warehouse for readiness data.
